"The Making of Sea Monster" is a film about the transformation of a retired rig from the North Sea into one of the UK's largest public art installations, the goal was to explore the themes of reuse, renewables, and the great British weather through the lens of this unique and ambitious project. The team behind SEE MONSTER are NEWSUBSTANCE. They are an award-winning creative studio driven by invention, technology and performance. They have over 15 years’ experience designing and building brave and ambitious projects that blur the lines of art, engineering, and technology.

The company based in Leeds UK want this to inspire global conversations about reuse, renewables and the great British weather.
