FLOOD

Flood is the story of what happens when the waters come, the World is destroyed, and how those who survive try to make it new again.

This short film was commissioned by UK City of Culture and BBC The Space.  It is the prologue to a year-long experimental project by Slung Low theatre company which will tells a story in many different forms across an entire year.  Set against the backdrop of the North Sea fishing waters, this first part of the project reveals a fishing trawler that raises a girl from the depths of the sea.

Behind the scenes film documenting the making of Flood.
